Urbanbnb Team: Claudia, Markus, Talia and Samuel Urban.

Since 1996, our family business has been running successfully in temporary living field. Urbanbnb was founded by Claudia and Markus Urban and now the next generation is almost in the beginning; our daughter Talia and our son Samuel Urban. We focus on personal customer support and put a great importance for being easily accessible for our guests and hosts.

We are not an anonymous portal that stays behind a webpage. More precisely, real people work here with a great passion to offer guests home feeling in a foreign city and to be a competent partner for our hosts.

Claudia and Markus Urban have been operating their company "urbanbnb" since 1996 as overnight accommodation agent with motivation:

History: As a trained trade fair organiser for a large automobile club, Claudia Urban is the founder of the company urbanbnb in 1996. At the 7 months’ pregnant time, she began to implement the business idea in the kitchen table, developed and started on 01.07.1996.

In those days, even without a computer, every single accommodation offer with a card index and a fax machine was advertised by hand. Today, it is unbelievable that we armed with a pencil and an eraser, record all the bookings and enquiries on the index cards elegantly. At the moment, we work with a modern booking software which enables our guests to check all desired places during their free times as a quick and comfortable online booking system. Our service was quickly accepted by guests and hosts. This allowed us to rent new and larger office space.

Markus Urban

Banker and Real Estate Specialist.

We have been working in the field of B&B and temporary living since 1996. We have specialized in the mediation of furnished rooms and apartments. Our success encourages us being on the right way. As a family business we remain with our good names from satisfied guests and hosts. We would be appreciated to receive further bookings from you.

And as a former Bundesliga handball goalkeeper I believe that only teamwork leads to success, so we work hand in hand with our hosts to make our guests satisfied. I am looking forward to see you.

Talia Urban

We receive more than 50% of the inquiries as a time slot from 2 to 12 months. Our guests being stayed in the city for various reasons; from project manager to the guest lecturer at the university; many employees by insurance services and bank employees. From craftsman who needs a room from Monday to Friday, to a job beginner who needs a place for the trial time, or even actors and singers whose working in theatre, musical or opera. Bed & Breakfast is the keyword, but breakfast is more likely to be offered in countryside and suburban areas.
